During assessment, doors are subjected to a number of tests to represent an attack from an intruder and investigate the strength of the locks, hinges, glazing and door structure.
Split Spindle Locks - Multipoint Hook Locks can be supplied with a split Spindle operation whereby the door cannot be opened using the handle on the outside but requires the use of your key to release the latch; the external handle only serves to throw or retract the security hook bolts.
